Detechtion Announces New Client and Staff Additions for 4th Quarter 2010 and Results of 5th User-Client Conference

Detechtion Technologies announced today the addition of several new key clients during 4Q 2010 as it continues to expand the use of its Enalysis™ compressor optimization and fleet management solution throughout the global natural gas industry.

New clients added during the 4Q 2010 include:

  • Enbridge Inc., one of North America's leading energy companies and recently recognized as one of the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World. Enbridge transports and distributes energy across North America and employs of more than 6,000 people in Canada and the United States.

  • Origin Energy, a leading Australian integrated energy company, and Australia's largest producer of coal seam gas (CSG). Origin has nearly 4,000 employees in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific.

  • PostRock Energy, an Oklahoma City based company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development, production and transportation of oil and natural gas primarily in the Cherokee Basin of Kansas and Oklahoma. PostRock owns and operates over 2,800 wells and nearly 2,200 miles of gas gathering lines in the Cherokee Basin. In addition, it owns 1,100 miles of interstate gas pipelines in Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri.

  • PVR Midstream LLC, Texas based company that provides natural gas processing, gathering and other related services. PVR Midstream owns and operates over 4,000 miles of natural gas gathering pipelines, and several gas processing facilities having over 400 MMCFD of total capacity.

  • Questar, a Salt Lake City, Utah based integrated natural gas company that develops, produces, and delivers clean energy in the heart of the U.S. Rockies.

These five companies join a growing list of nearly 100 of the world's leading natural gas companies utilizing Enalysis™ in the daily operation and management of their compressor fleets. “The addition of these five highly reputable new clients in North America and Australia further solidifies Detechtion's leading position in the global compressor optimization & fleet management industry” states John Peters, Detechtion's Vice President of Strategic Corporate Development.

In line with its mission of providing best-in-class, highly personalized customer service to its clients, Detechtion also announced today the addition of three new employees to its team, including:

  • Scott Cross has joined Detechtion as an Engineering Account Manager in our Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. Scott brings to Detechtion over 25 years of technical, customer service, and sales experience, most recently with Johnson Controls.

  • Sera Devji has joined Detechtion as an Engineering Account Manager in our Calgary, Alberta office. Sera is a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary.

  • Arlin Louie has joined Detechtion as an Engineering Account Manager in our Houston, Texas office. Arlin has a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of New Orleans, and five years of engineering project management experience.

Detechtion also announced today the successful completion of its 5th User-Client Conference held in San Antonio, Texas this past November. Natural gas compression industry leaders from across North America were in attendance, including several current Detechtion clients including Bonavista Energy, Chesapeake Energy, East Resources, Enbridge, Energy Transfer Partners, EOG Resources, EQT, EXCO, ONEOK, Stone Energy, Superior Pipeline, Talisman, TAQA North, and XTO. Several leading compressor equipment, parts, and technology companies were also in attendance, including Ariel, Cameron, Caterpillar, Cook Compression, Compressor Products International, Dresser/Waukesha, eLynx, Frick, Hoerbiger, LeROI, and Northsky. Martin Belanger, Director of Technical Operations for TAQA North Ltd., delivered a keynote presentation on best compression practices within his organization, including their fleet-wide use of the Enalysis™ application.
