Detechtion Technologies Partners with Leading Handheld Data Collection Companies

Detechtion Technologies announced today that it has successfully integrated its “Enalysis” compressor optimization and fleet management solution with Quick Oilfield Solutions’ handheld compressor data collection system. The integrated system is currently being used by one of the largest oil and gas producers in North America.

This particular gas producer has been using the Quick Collect system for several years now for the collection of operational data on their wells and various field equipment. “It was an obvious next step for us to link the compressor field data directly into the Enalysis application where there is real value to be attained by having Detechtion convert all the raw compressor data into useful information” says Angus Sutherland, General Manager of Quick Oilfield Solutions.

Using the Quick Collect system, operators simply log and save the engine and compressor operating conditions directly into an intrinsically safe handheld device while standing on the skid. Once back in the office they synchronize the handheld with their computer through Quick Uploader (provided by Quick Oilfield Solutions). The pertinent compressor field data is then automatically sent into the Enalysis servers for processing. The resulting Enalysis compressor diagnostic report is immediately generated and ready for review by the client.

Detechtion is currently in the process of completing final testing with two other leading handheld data collection companies in Canada. Beyond Compliance and Hot Button Solutions have been working closely with Detechtion’s IT and engineering staff over the past several months to create a seamless compressor optimization and fleet management solution utilizing each of their respective technologies. There are several pilot projects already underway with a number of oil and gas producers in western Canada. “From the very beginning we have developed the Enalysis system to ensure high flexibility and ease of integration with other leading technology companies.
