Detechtion Announces New Client Additions for 3rd Quarter 2007
October 2, 2007
Calgary, Alberta and Forest, Virginia
Detechtion Technologies announced today the addition of several new key clients during the third quarter of 2007 as it continues to expand the use of its “Enalysis” compressor optimization and fleet management program throughout the North American natural gas industry.
Although there has been a noticeable slowdown in the Canadian energy services industry over much of 2007, over the past 3 months Detechtion has solidified significant contracts with five Canadian producers, four of which follow the energy trust model. “Given the current state of the energy services sector in Canada, our company's solid performance over this past quarter reinforces the strong and immediate financial benefits available to gas producers of all sizes through the implementation of Enalysis on their compressor fleets” stated Brian Taylor, Detechtion's president and chief operating officer. “Cash flow gains are typically realized immediately upon implementation of our technology, primarily due to increases in production volumes.”
New client additions over the past 3 months include:
ARC Energy Trust, one of the largest conventional royalty trusts in North America, currently in its ninth year of operation.
Baytex Energy Trust, a Calgary based conventional oil and gas income trust engaged in the acquisition, development and production of oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.
Exshaw Oil Corporation, a privately held oil and gas producer operating in Western Canada. The company was originally created to acquire Duvernay Oil Corporation's Peace River assets.
Fairborne Energy Trust, a growth-oriented oil and gas producer with operations across central and western Alberta and in south-eastern Saskatchewan.
Harvest Energy Trust, one of Canada's largest energy trusts offering exposure to upstream oil and natural gas production and downstream refining and marketing operations. Harvest's production business is weighted approximately 70% crude oil and liquids and 30% natural gas.
SandRidge Energy, a rapidly growing independent natural gas and oil company headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. SandRidge's focus is to expand reserves and production in the West Texas Overthrust (WTO), a natural gas prone geological province encompassing 1.3 million acres. SandRidge also has significant operated leasehold positions in the Cotton Valley Trend in East Texas, the Gulf Coast area, and the Piceance Basin.
During the 3rd quarter of 2007, several of Detechtion's existing clients also expanded their use of the Enalysis Program on additional compressors located in Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Wyoming, Alberta, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories.
