Detechtion Technologies announced today the opening of a new regional office located in Denver, Colorado. Mike Cawthon, Detechtion’s Western U.S. Regional Manager, will oversee the new office.

“We have seen a significant expansion of our business in the Rockies over the past few years,” said Cawthon. “Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico represent three of the top six gas producing states in the nation. Our current clients have been busy drilling and adding horsepower across the Rockies, and to better service these clients we felt we needed a permanent presence in the region.”

Keeping in line with Detechtion’s commitment of continued reinvestment in the Enalysis Program, the software team at Detechtion Technologies has just completed a 16 month redevelopment of the software platform to better suit future expansion and development of the application. Along with this redevelopment there have been a handful of new features that users of the software now have at their fingertips. Included in the new features list is the ability for enhanced trending and improved functionality to export all reports out of the application in either PDF or Excel formats. These enhancements were rolled out at Detechtion’s first user-client conference held in Calgary on April 19th.

Detechtion also announced today the addition of several new key clients during the first quarter of 2007 as it continues to expand the use of its “Enalysis” compressor optimization and fleet management program throughout the North American natural gas industry. New client additions over the past 3 months include:

  • Pine Mountain Oil & Gas, an Appalachian basin gas producer headquartered in Abingdon, Virginia. Pine Mountain is an active player in the basin’s prolific Nora field located in southwestern Virginia.

  • East Resources, an independent exploration and production company with land holdings of over 1.25 million acres. East Resources owns and operates over 2,400 producing oil and gas wells in New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Colorado and has active exploratory drilling programs underway in Wyoming.

  • Great Lakes Energy – Ohio, an independent oil and gas company based in Hartville, Ohio. Great Lakes is engaged in the development, exploration, and acquisition of properties in the Appalachian basin. A sister division, Great Lakes ¨C Pennsylvania, has been an active Detechtion client since 2005.

  • Avenir Diversified Income Trust, a Western Canadian energy company created to provide stable, sustainable distributions to unit holders. The focus of the Trust is to identify opportunities in the less than 1000 boe/d size range that are normally too small for most pure play energy trusts.

  • Pengrowth Energy Trust, a Canadian oil and gas producer and one of the largest energy trusts in North America. Pengrowth was created in 1988 to provide investors with an opportunity to participate in the oil and gas industry without the higher investment risk associated with exploratory drilling.

  • Signalta Resources, privately held oil and gas company operating in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.

  • Sound Energy Trust, an oil & gas producer formed by the merger of NAV Energy Trust and Clear Energy Inc. Sound Energy has approximately 430,000 net acres of undeveloped land and a significant development portfolio. Production is approximately 53% natural gas and 47% liquids (oil and NGLs).

  • Thunder Energy Trust, an oil and gas income trust with a diverse base of oil and gas properties located in Western Canada.

During the 1st quarter of 2007, several of Detechtion’s existing clients also expanded their use of the Enalysis Program on additional compressors located in Colorado, Kentucky, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Alberta, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories.
