Detechtion Announces New Client Additions, Relocation of Canadian Headquarters

Detechtion Technologies announced today the addition of two new key clients during the 3rd Quarter of 2005 as it continues to expand the use of its "Enalysis" compressor optimization and fleet management program throughout the North American natural gas industry. New client additions over the past 3 months include:

  • Penn Virginia Oil & Gas Company, a Pennsylvania-based producer with operations in the Appalachian basin, Mississippi, and the Gulf Coast. Penn Virginia is one of the top fifty oil & gas producers in the U.S., with total assets of US$780 Million. At year-end 2004, Penn Virginia had 316 BCF of gas reserves and 6.3 Million barrels of oil reserves. Penn Virginia has added a portion of their compressor fleet to Detechtion's Enalysis program.

  • PrimeWest Energy Trust, a Calgary-based oil & gas producer with operations throughout the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. PrimeWest is one of the top twenty oil & gas producers in Canada, with total assets of C$1.8 Billion. At year-end 2004, PrimeWest had 678 BCF of gas reserves and 42 Million barrels of oil reserves. PrimeWest has added their entire compressor fleet to Detechtion's Enalysis program.

During the 3rd Quarter of 2005, several of Detechtion's existing clients also expanded their use of the Enalysis Program on additional compressors located in Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, British Columbia, and Alberta.

"This marks Detechtion's 30th consecutive quarter of growth" said Andrew Miles, Detechtion's U.S. Operations Leader. "We continue to aggressively re-invest earnings in further product enhancements, and recently rolled out a very impressive environmental reporting system. Using this system, Detechtion clients have immediate access to precise fuel consumption and emissions data on their compressor packages."

In order to better serve its Canadian clients, Detechtion also announced today that is has relocated its Calgary headquarters to the 25th floor of the Scotia Centre tower in downtown Calgary. The new office address is 700 ¨C 2nd Street SW, Suite 2550, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, T2P 2W2. All current and prospective clients are welcome to drop in.
