Through the 4th Quarter of 2004, Detechtion Technologies has continued to make big strides towards its vision of being widely recognized in the natural gas industry as an essential component in the successful and profitable management of a compressor fleet. The addition of new clients and the sustained development of existing client relationships make it clear that Detechtion Technologies remains a driving force in the North American natural gas marketplace.

After having successfully completed long term pilot projects with Petro-Canada Oil and Husky Energy, two senior independent gas producers, Detechtion will be focused early in 2005 with the further implementation of Enalysis on their large compressor fleets. Both of these dominant industry participants have asked Detechtion Technologies to broaden the scope of compressor optimization and fleet management across each of their companies.

"This is a very exciting step for us as a company. It again proves that our clients are receiving tremendous benefit through the use of both the compressor diagnostic and fleet management tools inherent in the Enalysis system, as well as the dedicated engineering response that we provide" said Steven Summers, Detechtion's Director of Field Services in Canada.

Another of Detechtion's clients, Bonavista Energy Trust, a mid-sized gas producer who has been with Detechtion for over five years and utilizes Enalysis on its entire fleet; recently announced the acquisition of approximately 50,000 horsepower of additional compression. "These compressors are not currently setup on the Enalysis system, so the benefit to our client will prove to be very substantial in terms of both production gains and reduced operating expenses" stated Summers. "I believe Detechtion will play a key role in helping them fully capture the value potential from this acquisition." Detechtion has been engaged by Bonavista to have all of this newly acquired compression integrated into the Enalysis Program immediately; furthering their long-term strategy of monitoring all rotating equipment within the company using Enalysis.
